2- It is available in different head sizes which enables it to fit accurately in the acetabulum. Head dia varies from 37-55mm.

3- Stem is thickened at one end while tapered at the other. This feature of the stem prevents its rotation once implanted.

5- Collar are meant for weight distribution on the calcar. Also it has positive impact on micro-motions and additionally prevents                         osteopenia.

6- In standard prosthesis, collar between the stem and neck minimize the migration of polyethlene wear debris.
